Music’all is a local dynamic music school running on Saturdays in Parsons Green, Fulham.
The school is open to all children of all levels of musicianship from beginner to advanced. It is run as a charity with the objective of providing high quality, affordable music tuition within the community.
OUR PHILOSOPHY
Music’all provides a holistic approach to the teaching of music. At Music’all we believe that learning music goes well beyond the one-on-one tuition of a musical instrument. For children to thrive in music requires not only mastering an instrument but also a knowledge of musicianship and perhaps most importantly the experience of making music communally through choirs, ensembles and orchestras.
Music has a huge role to play in children's education. Not only is the learning of an instrument a valuable skill in and of itself, music making markedly improves a child's performance at school across the entire curriculum. It also provides them with an invaluable sense of personal achievement, inculcates the value of teamwork and discipline, and enhances the child's emotional, intellectual and social development. To deliver these benefits, Music'all's program provides not just one-to-one instrumental tuition, but also the study of musicianship and, perhaps most critically, the all-important experience of making music communally in our choirs and ensembles.
Pupils are prepared for ABRSM exams and are encouraged to perform,
among which at our termly.
Pupils are encouraged to listen to the performances of their peers and to work together in the making of music and the creation of a buzzing musical world.
